FreedomArts is a outreach ministry born out of AnthonyHodgsonArt. Like the story of the Prodigal Son, its purpose is to communicate the desire of the Father to be reconciled to us, his broken children. Presently, this is chiefly done through art evenings. What is an art evening?
At an art evening, I tell the story behind a piece, how it came to be, what it means. The painting or drawing will be on view. I might also sing songs and read poetry to amplify what’s being said. And, it doesn’t have to be in the evening!
Where do they take place?
Art evenings can take place at any venue, from someone’s living room or an arts centre, to a pub or church, to a conference centre or cathedral.
How much does it cost?
It’s free. I don’t charge. I leave that up to God. Jesus said: ‘Seek first the Kingdom and all these things will be given to you.’ That’s good enough for me.
If you like the sound of an arts evening, I’d be honoured to host an event near you. Please get in touch here.
